Every Abandoned Adult Cat Starts Out As An Adorable Kitten! The Starkitty Project Needs Your Help!
Please help the Starkitty Project to raise world awareness to incompassionate human behavior toward neighborhood felines. Each of the adult Starkitty Rescues you read about below has endured extreme hardship due to the ignorant behavior of human homeowners in their area. Allowing unneutered cats to roam freely PERPETUATES an epidemic of disease, physical injury and death by starvation & freezing to hundreds of cats in each and every town. The adorable kittens you see below you were rescued. But Teddy (below) died of the worst kitty virus known - Panleukopenia (distemper) which causes the intestines to ulcerate and bleed and wrecks the white blood cells of the entire body system. Death via distemper is ABSOLUTELY AGONIZING for an animal. To see a kitten writhing and moaning in delirium is a HORRIBLE thing to witness....all because SOME OTHER HUMAN caused it through negligent care to their OWN cat, whom they let wander the neighborhood - unaltered. Please note: we do not have ANY kittens available, as we focus strictly on abandoned adults.

Teddy died of distemper at 2 mo.

The global economic slide has caused irrevolkably harsh changes in the public shelter and rescue group industry. Overwhelmed more than ever, not only have adult cat adoptions slowed to an absolute crawl, but an epidemic of dumping cats has begun in every town across America and worse, kitten season is right around the corner. Because of this, shelters have taken to euthanizing loads of adult felines; most chosen because they are scared beyond belief and cannot get over the fright of being abandoned and then caged 24/7. Kittens are easy sells and a way that many rescue groups cull profits to continue. So rescues always take in kittens and the adults are sacrificed.
The Starkitty Interspecies Communication Project did not start out as a venture that was intended to house so many felines, nor did I as an animal communicator researcher have any clue initially as to how the rescue industry worked. Since this project is an Meta-educative one at heart, I have held the line of integrity in the name of the valuable research this project may one day offer to humanity. But I am struggling beyond belief to keep this project and the participating kitties safe and stable. We need your support in many ways. Please donate whatever you can. But MORE IMPORTANTLY, please either adopt a Starkitty or FOSTER one. Inquire at ask@bluechakra.com
PLEASE donate ANY AMOUNT you want to help keep the Starkittys in good food and kitty litter. Got a bright idea? Please email us with your thoughts and queries. If you can't keep a cat permanently but have anywhere from three months up to a year available, FOSTER a Starkitty. For anyone who ADOPTS, a FREE 30 minute Meta-Edu animal communication intro session is donated by the Starkitty founder AND a FREE 20 minute telepathic annimal communication session with a multi-published animal communication author is offered. Don't have PAYPAL? Make check payable to 'Bluechakra' and email ask@bluechakra.com to obtain mailing address.

NEW KIDZ on The Block!
Sergio, Phoebee & Mommy Flo
The Horrific Things YOUR NEIGHBOR Will Do:In April 2010 during our last snow: Tiger, our 3 legged TNR met up with a distressed and very young Mama kitty who had been abandoned to the streets, along with her sibling. They had three kittens in tow. One night at 11pm, I peered out my back porch window to see the entire group sitting patiently, shivering and waiting right at my door. They were emaciated and Benny had an eye infection. We channeled with Tiger and he admitted that he could not stand to see the Mama and baby's die in the pending snowstorm and knowing they could receive shelter at my home, he literally walked them across approximately 4 city blocks to get her and her babies food and shelter. He claimed to be their father. We asked about that further and it came out that though he was not the DNA father, he very much claimed them as his since he found and rescued them. How could we NOT give Tiger full credit for being their Dad? We asked the kitties their names. They all named themselves.
PERSONALITIES: I took the entire group in and neutered/spayed everyone except Brianna who was too far along in pregnancy herself to be spayed. She birthed three surviving babies on April 30, 2010. Overwhelmed by the number of incoming kitties, I was forced to admit Mama Flo and her son Sergio to a shelter. They were the very first Starkittys EVER to be admitted to a shelter. Through a friend I was able to get them accepted, however, the shelter 'returned' Benny, stating she was unadoptable and 'nobdy would want her'. This return occurred even after I submitted a video of me petting her. In the metal cage, surrrounded by the fear of other kitties, she reverted and could not cope. Mama Flo and Sergio sat in a metal cage for nearly five months. Finally Flo was adopted and separated from Sergio as the human who adopted her only wanted one. Sergio, distraught from separation, was further traumatized when he was moved to yet another facility. Just before he was moved, he caught Bartonella from the first shelter facility. I have been HORRIFIED by what has happened to him. There he sits currently - completely vulnerable to whatever conditions of this second facility, whatever they may be. Sergio, WAS very outgoing and playful. I don't know how he is today but I suspect his great outgoing personality will emerge once he is free of 'THE SYSTEM' in which he is trapped.
Brianna, Flo's sister, was adopted via my vet. Harry, her baby and a rare syndactly, lives at the Starkitty Ranch. With deformed front paws, he is in training to be a healer kitty. Phoebee and Daniel, one of Brianna's kittens were adopted by a co-worker of mine. Daniel died by a botched neuter procedure at a vets office. Baby SiuSiu, Brianna's last kitten was adopted out via my vet. Benny lives at the Starkitty Ranch, and is very mad at humans and though I can pet her - she will need a really gentle human soul to help her to emotionally heal out from the trauma of being mistreated. I am trying to get her and sergio reunited via adoption.
IDEAL NEW HOME: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP GET SERGIO OUT OF THE SHELTER!!!!! Holistic minded people with active yet zen style homes are desired for Benny and Sergio. Sergio would be GREAT with kids. Benny wants an advanced human soul to work with so she can be a healer kitty. Reuniting them would be a GREAT THING!
Benny...is a girl!
Brianna & Phoebee
Brianna's babies: On April 28 I heard a telepathic 'Mew, mew, mew' and saw in 'Psy film vision style' the first birth. Two days later, Brianna birthed her very first, a kitten who named himself Daniel. Ironically, I missed his birth and came home just as she was birthing her second baby. Daniel states he is a planetary peacekeeper and wanted to go to a family where there were lots of animals. He lucked out as he went to a very holistic woman, along with Phoebee, Mama Flo's daughter. Baby number two came out perfect but stillborn. I attempted CPR but upon later channeling, the kitty soul who could not come in stated his lungs had been malformed, which I had intuited as I worked on him. He had hovered nearby hoping I could get his body jumpstarted but it just did not work. I very sadly laid his body down to help Brianna with the other birthings. Baby number three was also malformed, however in a surprisingly unusual way. He is an authentic syndactly and is self named Prince Harry. He states that he is a very old soul and wishes to work with injured/disabled humans. He is in training as a therapy kitty currently. Last born, Siu Siu literally crawed right out of her Mama and has been raring to go since day one. She says she is of Earth and is very hearty and more 'dense' than the other two. She went to a family in Pa., who renamed her Moosey.
UPDATE: TRAGEDY for DANIEL: Daniel went to a GREAT home and joined up with Phoebe to be a companion cat. At eight months, he was taken for a routine neuter. With one descended testicle, the veterinarian who performed the surgery, negligently botched the surgery by going in through his stomach. Several weeks of infection built up in Daniel's body and he was rushed to the hospital by his new owner where he died within hours. His entire bladder system had turned necrotic - a sign that something had gone terribly wrong at surgery. Infection does not build up unless unsterile instruemts are used. Prior to this Daniel was a hearty, healthy kitten. We channeled immediately with Daniel after he crossed over to ensure he was safely with the Starkitty's on the other side. Daniel stated that he wants to come back to his owner and Phoebe, but will wait awhile in order to give Phoebe a chance to be a solo kitty for awhile. When Daniel lived with Phoebe, he said he didn't realy how bossy he was and how he had pushed her out of the way in bids for attention, but now that he was on the other side he could see how he had affected her - even though they were friends. Daniel now resides with Pal and Mr. B and will until return time. He has promised Phoebe that when he returns he will be gentler on her. AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION> Sergio and Benny. Sergio is trapped in a metal cage in a shelter. Benny resides at the Starkitty Ranch. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE ADOPT BOTH TOGETHER AND REUNITE THIS BROTHER AND SISTER???
Harry, Siu Siu and Daniel
ADOPT or FOSTER Sergio & Benny Help get Sergio out of jail!
Sergio
PLEASE HELP GET SERGIO OUT OF THE SHELTER!!!: Sergio and his Mama were the first Starkittys who had to be sheltered. It was a devastating choice for me to surrender them. But when the seven kittys landed on my doorstep last winter, I was forced to send Sergio and his Mama to a shelter. His Mama was adopted after six months, but Sergio was left behind. Traumatized by the loss of his mother, the shelter workers then maye a typically human and unconscious decision to ship him off to another shelter. Traumatized yet again in a brand new environment, Sergio was left to try to make sense of what happened to him. It has been a year and a half and the shelter has not succeeded in getting him adopted.
PLEASE ADOPT SERGIO and his sister Benny. Sergio was once a very outgoing kitty who romped and played and lept real high in the air chasing feathers and laser lights. Please restore his happiness to him. Go to this link and if you adopt Sergio from the shelter, I will allow Benny to go free, if she can go with him to a new owner so that they can be together for the rest of their lives. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/17921067
PERSONALITIES: Sergio was a VERY friendly and happy kitty as a kitten. I am SURE he will bounce back in a new home but PLEASE HURRY! Benny was very shy and was actually rejected by the shelter due to unhandleability. She cma e backw ith me and now she is a very happy, funny and playful kitty.

ADOPT or FOSTER Bosco (Super Affectionate Kitty)
Bosco
Bosco: Arrived on my doorstep in winter 2011, with a neck ripped wide open from a fight with another animal. Using holistic methods, we healed his neck, but shortly thereafter he returned with a rip to his cheek. At that point I brught him in despite crowded conditions. Bosco is now a super healthy cat, FIV neg and neutered and shotted. He is extremely affectionate and needs to engane with a family or with someone who will really keep him as a companion - for he seeks alot of attention. He only wants to serve you!
PERSONALITY: Bright, talks ALOT, is very affectionate and actively seeks attention. Bosco is guessed to be 1.5 yrs.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION> Bosco Call IMMEDIATELY to adopt. He's ready to go!
Bosco
ADOPT or FOSTER Vea (Affectionate Farm Kitty)
Vea
Vea: Black and white, approx. 3 yrs, male. With Vea, it took 3 hard years of human groveling before he let me pet him. But I had an unsual psychic connection with him and kept getting premonitions and messages from him. One day I saw a 'car hit' and was so disturbed I frantically searched the neighborhood for him. When I found him, I told him about the vision and through further animal communication, Vea told me that I saved his life. He was able to recognize the car when it came and stop himself before typically dodging across the street as he normally would have.
After that, Vea came to my porch and started letting me pet him. Then one day he showed up badly injured from a fight and he recuperated with me for three months during the winter months. He hissed the whole time, which surprised me, after all the telepathic work we'd done together. I inquired and he stated he wanted to be free and not housebound and hence, the bad behavior. Early last summer I released him to his freedom. He disappeared for two days. When he came back he was THE SMOOCHIEST cat alive! I asked him about this. He stated he decided that after roaming for two days, he really wanted to be back 'home'. He is now an indoor-outdoor daily garden kitty. He's fat and healthy, neutered, shotted and FIV neg. He says he's ready to be with the 'right humans'...whenever they come along.
PERSONALITY: Named for the V mark on his head, and for the very unusual luv bug that he is, he'll jump up to greet me and smooch my legs. He talks and is not afraid to ask for food.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION>
IDEAL NEW HOME: A farm location would be ideal for Vea - or a home environment where he can be the indoor/outdoor kitty at a location where there is very little traffic. I have kept him indoors for long periods of time, however, he asks to go out and due to the lack of room at the Starkitty Rancy, occasionally I let him stretch his legs. I feel he would be a great permanant indoor kitty with the right people ultimately. Shy when strangers come over, he is TRULY an affectionate buddy.
Vea
PLEASE donate ANY AMOUNT you want to help keep Vea in good food and kitty litter. Not only will your support be deeply appreciated, please email us with your thoughts and queries to ask@bluechakra.com Even if you can't keep a cat permanently but have anywhere from three months up to a year available, you may consider fostering Vea. As a foster parent you assume all costs and responsibilities a true owner would however, you are not committed to caring for him for a lifetime, as would you, were you a pet owner.
ADOPT or FOSTER Thunder & Thumbelina
Thunder
THUNDER and THUMBELINA:A bonded pair; through animal communication Thunder requested they stay together so that he could watch over his 'wife'. Thunder is black with a small white spot on his chest. He is medium build, but heavy....not as in fat but as in stocky and solid. Thumbelina is a tiny grey tortie with muted orange/tiger markings. They are both approx. 5 yrs old. Altered and vaccinated. FIV negative. Thunder arrived in a blizzard and knocked a can of food out of my hands. Starving and injured, he howled until I took him in. He resided on a back porch for a winter and was placed with a feral pregnant kitten named Thumbelina in a garage later that winter, so as to provide protection for her. They fell in love. Thunder raised Thumbelina's kittens. He is a very solid and steady cat. He loves to play. Thumbelina is very shy but very affectionate with her husband.
2009 Update: T & T were adoped out in April-May 09 but were returned after a month and half. Thumbelina went into fear mode and just could not adjust despite great effort by her new guardians. They reluctantly returned them and Thumbelina is currently undergoing a re-socialization process. It is unclear whether they can be adopted together was was promised and planned - or whether Thumeblina is destined for a feral farm. Thunder has adjusted well upon return and is working with me to help socialize Thumbelina.
2010 Update: How could I place Thumbelina in a feral farm when her husband remained here? Both are still with me. Thumbelina is still only a 'sniff the fingers' kitty but she does play laser light, chase strings, sleep on the bed close enough to almost touch and cooperates when I ask her to go into a carrier. I SWEAR she understands human language and is very cooperative despite her no touch policy. Both surprised me this year when I asked them to watch over baby Harry. Thumbelina ran right up to him and started licking, and I can confidently say, she remembers her maternal instincts. Kitten Harry now often goes for sleep overs with Thunder and Thumbelina in their nighty-nite room where he can get parenting, since Brianna his Mom was adopted.
THUNDER AND THUMBELINA NEED TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER> Who in their right mind could separate a love so great?
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION>
IDEAL NEW HOME: A zen home - No chaos please! Mature people only.
Thumbelina
PLEASE donate ANY AMOUNT you want to help keep Thunder & Thumbelina in good food and kitty litter. Not only will your support be deeply appreciated, please email us with your thoughts and queries to ask@bluechakra.comEven if you can't keep a cat permanently but have anywhere from three months up to a year available, you may consider fostering Thunder & Thumbelina. ADOPT or FOSTER Palomino
Palomino aka 'Flower'
PALOMINO: aka 'Flower' is a gray and white female approx. 5 yrs. Altered and vaccinated. FIV neg. Mommy Palomino does not meow. She PEEPS!
Palomino has known tremendous hardhip and has overcome it. A feral and uncatchable stray at first arrival, she birthed a batch of kittens only to have one lone kitten survive. Within a few months, the uncatchable kitten was killed in the streets and afterward Palomino became very sad and depressed. She tromped across my yard every day, head down and you could just FEEL her loss and pain. Still uncatchable, I promised her that if she birthed her next batch in my yard I would save all of her kittens. Good Lord - she actually LISTENED! In Sept 05, Palo birthed five babies in the myrtle and all five of her babies, including her were saved. On the first day of their birth, she graciously allowed me to hold them and bless them into the world. Maya, Dali, Sami, Isobel and Zorro, all self named, claimed to be a dolphin pod from Atlantis. They stated that dolphins and felines, as they have similar frequencies, often switch out their bodies to accomodate sea or land. It is now Palo's turn to be solely loved for the very exquisite and beautiful being that she is.
PERSONALITY: It took a year to socialize Palomino - hence the nicknmame, Flower. She witnessed her babies being handled and playing daily and learned from them. Palo is now a very sweet, touchable, playful kitty. She practically falls into your hand when you stroke her. She is an extremely ladylike, gentle kitty who is completely non-agressive. She gets along with EVERY other kitty at the Starkitty Ranch.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION>
IDEAL NEW HOME: Palo would prefer a zen style, peaceful home. Nothing crazy or nutty, but that doesn't mean it can't be a somewhat active family home. She is very content to be alone and LOVES a window view but mixes and mingles well too. She plays with balls, other kitties and is generally active. She would make a great companion cat to another cat, for her extreme gentleness begets immediate friendship. She actually embraces change and growth and adapts quite well to any room she is placed in.
PLEASE donate ANY AMOUNT you want to help keep Palomino in good food and kitty litter. Not only will your support be deeply appreciated, please email us with your thoughts and queries to ask@bluechakra.com Even if you can't keep a cat permanently but have anywhere from three months up to a year available, you may consider fostering Palomino. As a foster parent you assume all costs and responsibilities a true owner would however, you are not committed to caring for him for a lifetime, as would you, were you a pet owner.
ADOPT Scooter & Mr. Mush (Bonded Pair)
Scooter
SCOOTER and MR. MUSH: Scooter and Mr. Mush are bonded brothers and MUST live together. Both are 5 yrs, neutered and vaccinated and FIV neg. Scooter is a grey tiger with big green eyes and Mr. Mush is an incredibly handsome black tuxedo cat with a curly tail.
PERSONALITY: Both cats are shy and will hide when company comes over but in private, they are extremely affectionate 'bed bugs'. Scooter is in his very first cat body, incarnating from squirrel consciousness. In his previous life he was rescued as a severly malformed squirrel who lived with Pal and Sweet Pea (Starkitty founder kitties) for six months before he died. In that time, Pal held him in his arms and nurtured him in his dying days. Scooter, as a new young kitten directed his mother, a feral stray to the Starkitty location and when a door was opened to him - he ran straight up the stairs to the bedroom he knew as a former squirrel. Mr. Mush is his 'assigned guardian' for this life - to help Scooter to adapt to his very first kitty body. They are not to be separated. Scooter is pet stroller trained and loves to go in the outdoor Starkitty kennel. Scooter loves laser light. Mr. Mush cannot see the red spectrum but laser light has been 'explained' to him so he can now enjoy the strange kitty antics of others chasing it.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION>
IDEAL NEW HOME: A busy, active or quiet household. Well behaved kids with patience to let them settle in gently would be ok - but NO roughhousing or chasing them! They are great for a single adult/working couple or someone looking for companion kitties. They can be left alone alot. Both cats live amongst many other cats and are gentle and peaceful. Mr. Mush has a great sense of humor and upholds the play factor in the Starkitty Ranch. Scooter is a complete flower child who as ZERO agressive behavior in him. EVERY SINGLE STARKITTY at the Ranch LOVES Scooter!
Mr. Mush
PLEASE donate ANY AMOUNT you want to help keep Scooter & Mr. Mush in good food and kitty litter. Not only will your support be deeply appreciated, please email us with your thoughts and queries to ask@bluechakra.com Even if you can't keep a cat permanently but have anywhere from three months up to a year available, you may consider fostering Scooter & Mr. Mush. HONORING Joey - Shifted to Ethereal Kingdom - July 5, 09
Joey
JOEY: It's a miracle he survived as long as he did in this little gray and white body. He arrived practically blind with a bad eye infection but with herbal supplements and hi grade food, his infection cleared to the point that he could see enough to get around. Damage to his eyelids remained and he was fairly dependant on me for food, though still quite feral. Yet Joey was quite curious and eager to interact, despite his initial shyness and he spent two years at my doorstep.
Common to outdoor strays - his life was destined to be short. Joey could not help but roam the streets. It was in his nature to explore, despite the fact that he could not see very well. I got quite accustomed to his daily presence and instantly knew something was wrong when he did not show up for breakfast one day. Day after day, I became more concerned and I searched the neighborhood, but Joey was gone.
Two weeks later, Joey came to me psychically. I saw him first in cat form - but I was confused for then he morphed to a human-like form and appeared as a young blonde man. At first I was stunned at the shift and was not understanding of the double vision. Joey later conveyed that the young man that I was seeing was one who had crossed over at the exact moment that Joey had, therefore I had psychically read into blended layers of reality. This goes to show that there is much more for us to learn about psychic reality from our animal spirit friends.
When I contacted Joey recently - he had gone so far out into the ethers, he was not very reachable at the time. He acknowledged that he'd left the planet and was elsewhere - although he could not declare exactly where that was. Perhaps he will swing back and we will attempt to keep ongoing contact with him when he orbits closer. For those wishing to honor Joey as he was, and is now, feel free to donate to the Starkitty Project in his name.
The Crossing of BEAUTIFUL, Mr. B
Mr. Beautiful
MR. BEAUTIFUL:Won't ANYBODY LOVE ME - just because I am FIV+????
On Monday morning March 28th 2011, Mr. B passed very suddenly of a heart attack. I walked to the porch to feed him as usual that morning and found him still on the rug. It was a shock. The night before, Mr. B and I had enjoyed a grooming session and he was his usual self - happily rolling about as I combed through his fur. Mr. B was rescued from my snowy driveway, if I remember correctly, in the year 2004. Starving and stubborn, he would not leave my porch, which earned him a spot ultimately at the Starkitty Indoor Ranch. In the years that we channeled with him, we learned that he had energetically pulled the virus FIV off of his brother Mr. Sunshine, who abandoned alongside of him in kitten hood, was having great difficulty surviving outdoors. Having been beat up by other kitty's in the neighborhood, Mr. Sunshine developed a survival mechanism which led to his initiating fights - so as to offset attacks upon him. The wiser and older soul Mr. B knew of this and took the hit for Mr. Sunshine, who became vulnerable to FIV in one such cat fight.
There is so much that humans do NOT understand about how energy moves through our bodies and settles in as disease. Of so much that we DON'T UNDERSTAND, we grasp even less about how animals, particularly felines, have the ability to self sacrifice and take 'hits' for one another. In contracting the FIV on behalf of his brother, Mr. B's life was irrevocably changed. Mr. Sunshine was given a chance to live and was ultimately adopted. Their story, including how these energy exchanges take place will be featured in our upcoming book - because there is so much learning for us humans to do in regards to the particular story of these brothers. Both brothers were from a faction of the Angelic Realm - known as the orange ones. If humans ever wonder why they are so attracted to red kitties, or why so many like 'Morris the Cat' are featured in commercials - it is because many of these cats are angels. And though most humans can't consciously pick this up - they are unconsciously drawn to 'red' kitties - so as to be nearer to the angelic energy they emit. They have very special jobs to do in the world and most come to serve humans in their awakening process.
For years, I tried to find Mr. B a home, for his personality was designed to serve a human who craved and needed great love. He would hug like a human with both arms around my neck. He did not meow - but sounded off a 'Rah' - as in Ra, the sun god. He was leash trainable, rode in a car very well and was one of the most well behaved kitties I've ever had. Being FIV, he was not allowed into stores for adoption showcasing, and shelters refuse FIV's. There was no way I would commit this beautiful being whom I named 'Beautiful' to be euthanized - knowing who he was as an angel spirit. So he lived at the Starkitty Ranch, like others waiting for his special person to some. In his death, I was profoundly awakened to realize that I was destined to be his special person. In my many years with him, I can attest to the enormous service he lent to The Starkitty Project. For meta-educative purposes alone - his story needs to be told.
It is a terrible loss to me personally and my heart grieves. But Mr. B's presence here on planet Earth will be acknowledged for the contributions he, and the feline species makes. Along with the contributions that all the other species make as well - these gifts to us and our planet need to be accepted and acknowledged into 'human reality', for all animals are a significant piece of our living reality. Mr. B, despite his bodily condition, was seen and understood for who he truly was. And he was a VERY GREATLY LOVED cat. We will continue to Psy-communicate with Mr. B, to learn more about his mission and role as supporter to humans and to Earth.
SUCCESSFUL ADOPTIONS!
Mr. Sunshine
MR. SUNSHINE: Orange male tiger. Medium build w/ white front & white paws. Approx. 2.5 yrs old. Neutered and vaccinated. FIV negative. SUPER FAT bushy raccoon tail.
Mr. Sunshine hobbled down the Starkitty property driveway in the winter, laid down in the snow and cried. Injured from a deep bite wound to his leg and severely malnourished, he was healed and quarantined for 6 months due to NJ Rabies Bite Laws. Mr. Sunshine is now fully recuperated.
PERSONALITY: Sweet and openly affectionate with every human he meets, but he MUST be a solo companion kitty. Forced to survive on the streets he has too much 'fighting street memory' to be able to emotionally calm down in the presence of other felines as of yet. Seems ok with large non-agressive dogs from a short distance, but has not been completely tested with them. He may always need to be a 'one and only' companion cat.
Heis wonderfully gentle with humans. He loves to play laser light. He will cuddle in your bed. He does not meow - he 'trings' like a telephone. He talks alot and will follow you around as he will be interested in everything you do. Leash trainable and rides well in car. He can be smooched and smunched quite agressively, therefore he's VERYGOOD for kids/families.
IDEAL NEW HOME: A busy or active family household with high places for him to retreat to on occasion. Can be left alone alot, but seeks attention after a full day alone. Wants to 'be' part of the family. He is very friendly to anyone and not afraid of people. No other pets or cats should be paired with him except caged small animals. He knows mouse and bird and is fine with both.
UPDATE: MR. SUNSHINE WAS ADOPTED thanx to Dr. Ellen Prieto!
Sabrina
SABRINA: A tiny tortie like her mother Thumbelina, Sabrina's markings are much more pronounced and she has multi-colored toes. 3 yrs old. Spayed and rabies vaccinated. Survived a mild bout of distemper at age 2 mo., however, she is very hearty, very healthy and full of life!
PERSONALITY: Sabrina is the funniest and MOST fun Starkitty I have ever raised. She is full of zest, unbounded spirit and unlike Thumbelina, she is very bold and outwardly friendly to all people. She seeks action and adventure. She bounds and frolicks all over the house. She can spin on a dime on laser light and like the Eveready Bunny, her battery life is long when in 'play mode'!
She gets along with many other kitties. She head butts you for a head massage. She will sit on your lap in front of the computer. Bonded with Sufi, her brother, they would make a GREAT pair but she is capable of going solo somewhere too. Sabrina would make a GREAT therapy cat.
IDEAL NEW HOME: A busy, active household. Can be a multi-pet household. Great for a family with kids or someone looking for companion kitty. Can be left alone alot, but will seek attention after a full day alone. Wants to 'be' part of your life. Sabrina and Sufi are stroller trained, collar, clothing and leash tolerant. Both ride very well in a car for long distances.
UPDATE: SABRINA AND SUFI WERE ADOPTED TOGETHER!
Sufi
Sufi: Sibling to Sabrina, Sufi is a tiny tiger kitty with a long body and perfect white ring at the end of his tail. He is 3 yrs, neutered and vaccinated. Sufi suffered two bouts of serious distemper as a 2 mo old kitten. He survived but it left his right hind leg muscle weak. Sufi has learned to compensate for this mild leg weakness but he cannot jump extremely high places. When he 'focuses carefully' he can can get to wherever he wants to go very well.
PERSONALITY: Sufi is a very spiritual kitty and stated as a kitten via animal communication that his white ring was a physical symbol of 'World Unity'. He named himself, wanting to be called Sufi-Sioux originally because he wanted to create unification of all things spiritual.
Sufi is very serious about having and creating FUN. He gets along with many other kitties and tends to befriend any kitty that comes across his path. He IS a peacemaker.Sufi bebops around the house. He has a very distinct Sufi trot - upbeat and happy all the time. He jumps up to greet you. He is a great playmate to his sister Sabrina. He will play laser light with Sabrina until YOU poop out.
IDEAL NEW HOME: An active household. Great for kids, a single adult or someone looking for companion kitty. Sufi is a great 'other half' to Sabrina. They are a VERY FUNNY, HAPPY pair but Sufi could also go solo. He would be a wonderful cat for a sensitive INDIGO or CRYSTAL child.
UPDATE: SABRINA AND SUFI WERE ADOPTED TOGETHER!
Millie
Millie: ...arrived last week and immediately planted herself at my doorstep. Talkative, friendly and emaciated, we channeled her immediately to get her story. She calls herself Milicent, (Millie for short), says she is an old soul kitty, though very young in body (6-8 months estimated). She says she was brought to this area from elsewhere by a family but the family had to leave. They left her behind. They never spayed her. She wandered for a bit and heard a voice in the air. That voice was ethereal Pal - (our Starkitty Guardian founder), who though he tried to steer her away from the property - as I am overwhelmed with cats, Millie deemed from their conversations that this was a good place to come STAY. Millie was pregnant but it is unclear what happened to her babies.
PERSONALITY: She is extremely sweet, friendly and pettable. She talks...alot. She is easy going. She looks very much in appearance like Thumbelina - but says that she is NOT blood related.
IDEAL NEW HOME: Any home would be good for her as she is outgoing and friendly. She is very tiny in physical size and currently, quite skinny but we are working on giving her sound nutrition to correct that condition.
Special Note: Compassion during this harsh economy reigns! Thanks to the wonderful couple who adopted Sufi and Sabrina, Millie has been afforded veterinarian care, thus shall be given a second chance for a great life! Thank you Tara and Liam!
MILLIE WAS ADOPTED thanx to Dr. Ellen Prieto!
